Training Options

No matter what your current level of fitness, CrossFit 209 Sport has something for you. We train you according to your fitness level and the goals you would like to achieve. And assessment of each new client’s skill level and goals are made before training even begins. Whether your looking to lose weight, become more healthy, or improve your game CrossFit 209 Sport has something for you.

CrossFit 209 Sport offers many training options to suit your goals: CrossFit Training, Personal Training Group Training, Private Training and Sport Specific Training. Each segment is designed to target your exact goals and what you hope to achieve. CrossFit is the core three programs, but each is different in the way it is conducted, and the end result that is achieved.

The CrossFit program consists of CrossFit training only. The Goal here is only to improve the function of the body by focusing on the nine elements of fitness. There is no part of this program that is designed to only sculpt certain areas of the body or improve one function of the body (ex. Power, flexibility, endurance, etc.). All aspects of fitness will be included and you will reach the highest level of true functional fitness with this program.
The Personal Training program is a combination of all styles of training. CrossFit movements are the core of this program but other styles are integrated to achieve individual personal goals. Sculpting certain areas of the body will be achieved more efficiently with this program. Functional movements and the nine elements of fitness are still the main focus in this program, but other exercises which include bodybuilding, stepping, and boxing, will be included. This is the best program to increase your functional fitness and your look.
Group training is you, along with several others involved in a workout together with one coach. At CrossFit 209 Sport you will still receive individual coaching while in a group setting. The workout is scaled to your level and your specific goals, and the positive energy you experience will help you keep your intensity in that progress zone. Each session will include a warm up, instructional workout and finish with group stretching. Every workout you do will be different from the last and all of them will keep you wanting more. You will have your coach available during the entire session to help with technique and answer any questions you may have. Group training is an awesome way to step up your training and take your fitness to the next level.
Private training is you and a coach, one-on-one for a full hour. Private training is recommended, but not required, for all new- comers and anyone that is unfamiliar with CrossFit exercises. It is very important that you learn proper technique before entering into a group session to prevent injury and maximize your results.
The Sports Specific program is for any individual involved in athletics that wishes to improve their competitive edge. Again, CrossFit movements are the core of this program but it will be personally designed to improve whatever sport you wish to excel in. All nine elements of fitness are included in this program, as they are in any sport. Speed and agility are a large focus in this program, as are power, strength, flexibility and reaction time. You will see your athleticism increase dramatically, and it will show the first time you step on the playing field. Function is the main focus here, and insuring that you are maximizing your potential is out mission.
